KRSU hosts festive events in honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin
Celebrations dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin began at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The day's program is full of various cultural and educational events that will last all day.
The celebrations began early in the morning with a meeting of honored guests near the Pushkin monument, where teachers and students gathered to honor the memory of the great poet. At 10:00, the grand opening «of the Pushkin Festival» took place in the Great Assembly Hall, which was attended by representatives of the university and guests of the event.
One of the key events of the day will be a lecture by Vladimir Pakhomov on the topic «Online resources on the Russian language: from dictionaries to podcasts. During the lecture, participants learned about modern tools for learning the Russian language and discussed their use in the educational process.
Also, as part of the celebration, a literary and poetic event dedicated to the 225th anniversary of A.S. will be held. Pushkin, where participants will read out the poet’s favorite poems and discuss his contribution to world literature.
In the afternoon there will be a poetic teleconference «Reading A.S. Pushkin in Russian and native languages», bringing together students and teachers from different parts of the world. At the same time, an international scientific and practical conference will be held «Pushkin Readings.
The final chord of the holiday will be «Pushkin Evening», where a concert program and award ceremony for KRSU students will take place.
Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov noted in an interview: «Pushkin is a symbol of Russian culture and literature, and his work continues to inspire people around the world. We are proud to be able to organize such large-scale events in his honor and to sensitize students to his legacy».
Festive events at KRSU continue the tradition of respecting and preserving Russian culture and language, helping to strengthen intercultural ties and educational exchange.
