KRSU considered the issues of personal scholarships and compensation payments
A meeting of the commission on issues of personal scholarships and compensation payments was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov.
The Commission considered two key issues: the competition for the KRSU personal scholarship and the distribution of compensation payments to students.
This semester, 194 students took part in the competition for a personal scholarship. Based on the results of the meeting, the 100 best were selected, who showed high results in studies, scientific research, sports, cultural, creative and social activities.
The size of personal scholarships, depending on the rating, will range from 6,000 to 10,000 soms. Analytics on the dynamics of competitions and student achievements over the past two years were also presented at the meeting.
555 applications for compensation payments were received from students. Of these, 393 were recognized as meeting the criteria: successful study without academic debts and registration outside of Bishkek.
The amount of compensation payment this semester will be 7,000 soms per month. The commission supported the decision to distribute funds unanimously.
Separately, it was noted that first-year students will be able to participate in the competition for personalized scholarships and compensation payments based on the results of the winter examination session.
