The premiere of the play «Women who went through the war» — production of the student association «PROmovement» took place at KRSU. Under the leadership of Evgeniy Prokopenko, students presented a touching composition that combined literary images and poetic lines.
Fragments from the story by Chingiz Aitmatov «Mother Field» and poems by the Kyrgyz poetess, who dedicated her work to the feat of Toktogon Abdybasarova — the woman who saved hundreds of children from besieged Leningrad and gave them a house on Issyk-Kul, were skillfully intertwined on stage.
The music of the war years sounded — it resonated in the hearts of listeners, conveying the tragedy, hope and power of female heroism. Each melody revealed the inner world of women who had gone through the difficult trials of war — their resilience, tenderness and endless faith in life.
For the audience, the premiere of the play was not just a show — they saw in it living evidence of how creative initiatives of young people help to revive the pages of the past and turn them into artistic projects reflecting the fate of Kyrgyzstan and the entire post-Soviet space.
