The traditional dean's meeting took place at KRSU
The traditional dean's meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, chaired by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities Evgeniy Shekunov. The meeting was attended by deans of faculties and representatives of university departments.
The agenda of the meeting included issues of current organizational and administrative activities, document flow, infrastructure, interaction with partners and preparation for the winter training period.
At the beginning of the meeting, Evgeny Shekunov reported that the issue of heating buildings of the university is under the control of the administration of KRSU.
«The launch of heating systems will be completed in the coming days. The university fulfills all obligations on time, and the remaining connections depend on city services», — noted the vice-rector.
The meeting participants paid special attention to the issue of timely work with documentation in the 1C and «Infodox» systems. It was emphasized that each request must be provided with a written response within 14 working days, and, if necessary, an interim response indicating that the issue is under consideration. The need to redistribute documents, if work on them is not within the competence of a particular department, is also noted in order to eliminate delays and "the applicant walking in circles.".
As part of the discussion of the KRSU partner loyalty program, deans were instructed to create a register of partner organizations indicating study programs cooperation and a calendar of joint events — job fairs, internships, case championships and guest lectures. It was also decided to submit proposals for the employment of graduates and undergraduates as educational and support personnel.
«It is important for us to create intra-university opportunities for the professional growth of our graduates. This is a real mechanism for retaining young specialists in the academic environment», — noted Evgeny Shekunov.
The list of topics for final qualifying works and coursework at the Faculty of Economics will include the development of a marketing strategy for the admissions campaign and marketing policy of KRSU for 2026. This proposal will contribute to the direct inclusion of students in the practical activities of the university, will allow them to apply theoretical knowledge in real projects, analyze the market for educational services and develop solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of the KRSU admissions campaign and strengthening the image of the university.
Issues of Interdisciplinary Final State Certification (MIGA), liquidation of academic debts of correspondence students by the end of December, as well as updating student email addresses for online disciplines were also discussed.
A separate point of the meeting was devoted to the quality of food in school and faculty canteens. It was emphasized that joint work with contractors and systematic collection of feedback from students and teachers will improve the quality of food and create comfortable and safe conditions in the university canteens.
Concluding the meeting, Evgeniy Shekunov recalled the importance of faculty participation in the design of the new KRSU campus:
«What our campus will be like is up to us. Educational, laboratory and communication areas need to be clearly defined so that the new university becomes a modern and functional center of student life».
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed issues of planning Olympiads and faculty events, as well as the formation of applications for grant places of the Kyrgyz Republic for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The decisions taken are aimed at strengthening internal interaction, developing infrastructure and improving the quality of the educational process in KRSU.
