The final of the IX Olympiad «IT Cup of Kyrgyzstan» took place at KRSU

The final of the IX Olympiad «IT Cup of Kyrgyzstan» was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event brought together the best schoolchildren, students and professional programmers from all over the country.

The Olympics are held by KRSU together with the Sports Programming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and has established itself as the largest annual competition in the field of information technology. The qualifying stages were held on April 6 and 27, and more than 500 participants from all regions of the country took part in them.

Based on the selection results, the 120 best participants in the Senior, Junior, Students, Professionals categories, as well as in a separate Girls category, came to the in-person final, which took place in the main building of KRSU.

KRSU student success:

Ulukbekov Erzhan — 2nd place, 1st degree diploma

Ulukbekov Aikol — 10th place, III degree diploma

The winners were awarded diplomas, valuable prizes and special offers from universities and IT companies. Prize-winners of the Senior division received advantages when entering the direction “Software Engineering” at KRSU, as well as the right to enter the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) without entrance tests — as part of a separate competition for foreign citizens.
