An exchange of agreements on the launch of a joint master's program in the field of nuclear medicine took place at KRSU

As part of the opening of the national stage of the international championship Global HackAtom at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, cooperation agreements were exchanged between the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University and KRSU.The document provides for the implementation of a joint master's educational program «Nuclear Science and Technology» / «Nuclear Physics and Technology» in the profile «Nuclear Medicine» / «Nuclear Medicine (medical physics)» in network form.The programme will be one of the first such educational projects in Kyrgyzstan, focused on training specialists in nuclear medicine, medical physics and modern nuclear technology. The implementation of the program is aimed at developing human resources in high-tech areas of medicine and science, as well as strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.The educational program will be implemented in Russian in the direction of 04/14/02 «Nuclear Physics and Technology» from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2028. Training is provided in a full-time format using distance learning technologies.According to the agreement, Tomsk Polytechnic University acts as the basic organization of the program, and KRSU — is a participating organization. As part of the network interaction, the parties will jointly implement academic disciplines, practices, research activities and training of undergraduates.The number of students under the program will be up to 10 people. Based on the results of successful completion of the state final certification, graduates will be issued a master's diploma from Tomsk Polytechnic University of the established form in the field «Nuclear Physics and Technology».Particular attention in the preparation will be paid to modern areas of nuclear medicine and medical physics, including the use of radiation technologies in diagnostics, treatment and scientific research.The joint programme is being implemented with the support of the State Corporation «Rosatom» and will be part of a broader effort to promote international scientific and educational cooperation, train highly qualified personnel and introduce modern technologies into the education and health-care system of Kyrgyzstan.
