A Fire Safety Center is being created at KRSU: an international partnership in action
At the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, work began on creating a Fire Safety Center. The initiative is being implemented within the framework of a strategic partnership between KRSU, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU).
The project is aimed at introducing modern safety standards, developing a research and educational base, as well as creating a new system for training personnel in the field of fire safety. Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and experts from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University are involved in the implementation of the project.
As part of the approved roadmap, an introductory video conference was held with the participation of representatives of all parties. The key stages of launching the Center were discussed and mechanisms for further interaction were identified.
The discussion was attended by the head of the Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations of KRSU Eric Mambetov, Deputy Head of the Training and Research Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Ilyas Ibraimov, as well as the director of the Higher School for Technosphere Safety of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Andrey Andreev.
The creation of a Fire Safety Center at KRSU will be an important step in developing international cooperation and strengthening the system of training specialists capable of effectively solving problems in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergency situations.
