The IV Eurasian Analytical Forum and the III International Youth Analytical Congress started at KRSU
Today at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin opened the IV Eurasian Analytical Forum «The formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership as the basis of the development and security system in Greater Eurasia». The forum includes a youth section — III International Youth Analytical Congress «Youth in Greater Eurasia: potential, risks, security, cooperation». The events are combined into the program of the analytical week «Eurasian choice».
Advisor to the rector of KRSU Nikolay Kudryavtsev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association «Analytics» Nikolay Bordyuzha, Director of INION RAS Alexey Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Vladimir Zorin, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Anastasia Udaltsova and First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan addressed the participants with welcoming words Robert Fedorov.
Nikolay Kudryavtsev emphasized the importance of holding the forum specifically at KRSU:
«We are honored to host outstanding experts and young leaders. The fact that it was KRSU that became the platform for this meaningful dialogue confirms the desire for cooperation, development and strengthening of security on our common Eurasian path».
According to Nikolai Bordyuzha, the forum is taking place at a turning point in history:
«Today a new Eurasian and world order of interaction is being formed. There is no pressure of the strong on the weak, but a search for a fair and equitable system of cooperation. The results of the forum will be of interest to politicians and statesmen of our countries».
Education attaché of the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic Robert Fedorov noted the practical significance of the forum:
«Such platforms, especially at the university, help to form a common understanding of what the Eurasian partnership is and how to implement it in practice».
The forum was organized by KRSU, International Analytical Club «Issyk-Kul – Greater Eurasia», Eurasian Information and Analytical Consortium, Association «Analytics», Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences, RUDN University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The event is held with the support of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The forum brought together participants from Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Russia and other Eurasian countries. Among the guests are — representatives of leading universities, scientific institutes, government agencies and youth communities.
The forum program lasts several days and includes plenary sessions, expert discussions and the work of youth sections. The main attention will be paid to issues of Eurasian integration, socio-economic challenges, security models and the development of new formats of youth cooperation.
