The selection for the Presidential Scholarship of the Kyrgyz Republic has started at KRSU
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin has begun accepting applications for participation in the competition for the Presidential Scholarship of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The competition is held in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 2, 2024 and a letter from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Presidential Scholarship was established to support talented youth who successfully combine training with scientific and social activities.
You can submit documents:
• 3rd year students in undergraduate programs,
• students of 3–4 years of specialty programs,
full-time students at KRSU.
Acceptance of documents will last until August 12, 2025.
The main selection criteria are
high level of academic achievement (at least 90% of grades «excellent»),
participation and victories in international and republican Olympiads, competitions and conferences,
availability of scientific publications, patents or grants,
knowledge of state, official and foreign languages
active participation in the scientific, social, cultural and sports life of the university.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year (10 months) and is paid in a lump sum in addition to the established government scholarships. The amount of the scholarship is determined by a special Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
