A meeting between the rector and the ambassador of the Republic of Belarus took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University

An important meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University between the rector of the university, Denis Fomin-Nilov, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan, Andrei Strachko. Issues of cooperation and development of education between the two countries were discussed.

In his welcoming speech, the rector emphasized that recently the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed a ratification on the working conditions of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, which was an important step in the development of education in the region.

The rector also informed the guest about the new curriculum, as well as that KRSU students upon graduation receive two diplomas at once - Kyrgyz and Russian, which is an undeniable advantage of the university in the region.

After the meeting, the ambassador gave an open lecture to students on the topic “Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Second World War”, demonstrating his deep interest in the historical aspects and cultural heritage of his country.

Thus, this meeting was an important step in strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Republic of Belarus.
