Pass on: history, respect, strength. In Kyrgyzstan — Days of history and memory of ancestors!
Contrary to the belief that it is just a weekend, November 7th and 8th — special and interesting days with their own history.
November 7 — day of reflection on difficult but fateful stages of history.
november 8 — day of gratitude to those who passed on strength, dignity and history to us.
These are special days when we remember our roots, take pride in centuries of cultural heritage and pay tribute to the heroic past of our people.
The history of the Kyrgyz people — is a history of strength, courage and devotion to their land. These dates remind us of the wisdom of our ancestors, of traditions that inspire us to good deeds and new achievements.
To celebrate these significant days, we have selected a few things you can do today to preserve the memory of the past:
Find out your family history — talk to family, write down important facts, stories and memories.
Find family photos and things — pictures, letters, books — this is a bridge between generations.
Visit memorial sites — «Ata-Beyit», museums, monuments make history personal.
Create a memory symbol — drawing, verse, ornament that conveys respect and connection.
May memory strengthen the sense of unity, inspire respect for history and help everyone contribute to the future of Kyrgyzstan.
Happy holiday!
