Vladimir Putin emphasized the importance of joint educational projects between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, including the construction of the KRSU campus

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, in a video message to the participants of the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum and the XII Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference, noted that education and science remain one of the key study programs of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation.«Russia and Kyrgyzstan cooperate closely in the humanitarian sphere, in education and science, in culture and sports, and in public and youth circles. We continue the construction in Kyrgyzstan of nine schools with instruction in Russian, as well as the campus of the Slavic University in Bishkek. We regularly send teaching aids and highly qualified teachers to Kyrgyz schools and universities».Today KRSU is one of the key participants in the development of a single educational space in Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The university is carrying out systematic work on training teaching staff: in 2024, a pedagogical direction was opened here, training programs for future teachers are being implemented, practice in schools is expanding, and since the new academic year the number of budget places in teaching specialties has increased.The construction of a new campus of KRSU and joint Russian-language schools will be an important stage in the development of educational infrastructure and the training of highly qualified specialists for Kyrgyzstan.
