World Water Day was celebrated at KRSU

The Department of Water Resources and Engineering Disciplines KRSU held the competition "Water for the World - 2024", dedicated to World Water Day, with the participation of Central Asian countries and Russia.

Teams from various prestigious universities took part in this exciting event: Al-Farabi National University of Kazakhstan, Khujand State University (Tajikistan), Ural Forestry University (Russian Federation, Yekaterinburg), National University of Uzbekistan (Tashkent) and our team - representatives of the Department of Water Resources and engineering disciplines.

Students from Almaty, Kazakhstan, who took first place, won a well-deserved victory in a fair and intense struggle. The team from Tajikistan confidently retained second place. Our team happily shared the site with the guests and took an honorable fourth place. The competition was packed with quizzes, exciting videos made by our talented students, and fascinating experiments with different types of water, ranging from tap water at our university to bottle water from the supermarket.
