Meeting in Sochi: Slavic universities discussed the convergence of sciences in the EAEU

As part of the World Youth Festival in Sochi, a meeting was held entitled «Convergence of Sciences in the EAEU: Potential and Opportunities of Slavic Universities». This event brought together leading scientists and students from various countries to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the field of science and education within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, speaking as a moderator, emphasized the importance of integrating scientific study programs to achieve common goals. Denis Fomin-Nilov noted: «Cooperation between Slavic universities has enormous potential for the development of science and technology in the region».

During the discussion, university students actively participated, bringing their ideas and proposals to the discussion. They emphasized the importance of intercultural exchange and joint scientific research to enhance mutual understanding and knowledge.

One of the main conclusions of the discussion was the need to create joint scientific projects and exchange programs for students and scientists of Slavic universities. In conclusion, the rector noted: «We are convinced that the convergence of sciences within the EAEU is a key factor for the successful development of the region, and Slavic universities are ready to contribute to this».

This meeting was an important step towards deepening scientific cooperation between the EAEU countries and confirming the role of youth in this process.
