The second summit of Slavic universities «Slavic Horizon 2024» took place in St. Petersburg
The second summit of Slavic universities «Slavic Horizon 2024» was held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The event was organized with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
The summit was attended by representatives of leading Slavic universities, who discussed the prospects for scientific and educational cooperation, the implementation of joint academic projects and the program for integrating Slavic universities into the global scientific community. The main topics were the modernization of educational programs, digital transformation and the exchange of innovative technologies in educational processes.
Vice-Rector for International and Scientific-Innovative Activities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Viktor Denisenko in his speech emphasized the importance of strategic partnership with the Polytechnic University and noted the steps that were taken in 2024 with the active participation of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Among them are — the launch of new joint educational programs, the introduction of digital tools for teaching and the expansion of interuniversity internships.
«Cooperation with Polytechnic became a significant contribution to the development of the educational ecosystem of our university. We have introduced new techniques and programs, and strengthened interdisciplinary connections between faculties. These initiatives open up new horizons for students and teachers», — noted Viktor Denisenko.
The summit «Slavic Horizon 2024» became an important platform for discussing ways to strengthen international interaction and exchange of experience between Slavic universities. As a result of the event, a number of agreements on cooperation and joint projects were signed, which will allow participants to develop partnerships and strengthen their positions in the international educational arena.
