A graduate of KRSU has been appointed mayor of the city of Balykchy

The new mayor of Balykchy — Sultan Kermaliev, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin. The decree on his appointment was signed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

Sultan Kermaliev is 36 years old. He began his career working as a welder, then founded his own construction company, becoming the author of creative objects that made his name famous far beyond the city. It was he who designed the pier in the shape of a comus, as well as sculptures of Zeus and Poseidon — iconic art objects on the banks of Issyk-Kul, which became popular tourist spots.

The appointment of a KRSU graduate to a leadership position — is a clear confirmation that the university not only provides strong knowledge and professional skills, but also shapes the thinking of a leader capable of changing the environment around him.
