Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova presented certificates to graduates of the program «I — counselor»

At KRSU, as part of the working visit of Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova (https://t.me/OlgaPetrovaNN) a solemn ceremony was held to present certificates to graduates of the educational program for professional training of workers «I — counselor», implemented by the International Institute of Additional Education and Personnel Engineering KRSU.This year, 28 university students who are members of student teaching teams successfully completed the program.Opening the ceremony, Sergei Volkov noted the importance of the program for training young specialists and developing the student movement.«The student group movement will live and develop. Today KRSU is the only platform in the Kyrgyz Republic to promote the movement of Russian student groups. It is especially pleasant to see that the knowledge gained here already helps our graduates find work and opens up new professional opportunities for them», — emphasized Sergei Volkov.Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova also addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.«You have completed a very important stage. A counselor — is a person on whom the atmosphere in the team, the safety of children, their impressions and memories depend. It is very important that already in your student years you received an additional profession, which will open up new opportunities for self-realization and professional growth», — noted Olga Petrova.She also thanked the program teachers and organizers of the training of future counselors.«Special words of gratitude to those who develop this area and pass on their experience to students. It is thanks to such people that a new generation of active, responsible and caring young specialists is being formed», — said the Deputy Minister.The «I — counselor» program took place from March 10 to May 22 and was aimed at training specialists to work with children's and teenage groups. As part of the training, students studied the basics of pedagogy and psychology, issues of safety and health of children, the organization of educational work, technologies for conducting educational and leisure activities, as well as the legal basis for the activities of a counselor.During the ceremony, graduates of the program from different years shared their impressions. Nina Poroshenko, a fighter of the KRSU «Garnet» teaching team, spoke about her experience as a counselor in a children’s camp on the Black Sea coast, and medical student Natalya Tseveleva noted that the training she received will allow her to work in a children’s camp this summer not only as part of a teaching team, but also apply professional medical skills.Certificates were presented to graduates by Olga Petrova and Sergey Volkov. Already this summer, most program participants will go to work in children's health camps and educational organizations in Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation.
