A program of mini-grants for scientific research has been launched at KRSU

A new program has been launched at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), which promises to stimulate scientific research and contribute to the development of the academic sphere. The mini-grant program provides significant funds for scientists, opening up new research opportunities in various fields.

This year, some 70 million soms have been earmarked for research in a wide variety of disciplines. 265 people took part in the mini-research grant competition, from which 150 scientists from KRSU were selected, who were given the opportunity to receive funding for the implementation of their projects. The grants were issued after a thorough examination and selection by the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Among the areas of scientific research to be carried out at KRSU are the following:

• Engineering and technical sciences, instrument making and machine tool building

• Energy efficiency and alternative energy technology

• Modern medical technologies, biomedicine and childhood health

• Composite materials and modern construction technologies

• Modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence

• Russian language, linguistic research

• Psychology and pedagogy

• Digital humanities

• Ecology and agricultural technologies

• Oriental studies and African studies (Eurasian studies, regional studies)

These are just some of the areas that will be explored as part of the KRSU development program for 2024. The initiative is expected to enhance the university's scientific capacity and draw attention to innovative research, contributing to its reputation in the scientific community. Thus, KRSU becomes a new modern scientific platform in the country.
