Meeting of the Board of Trustees of KRSU: results and guidelines
On January 30, the second meeting of the Board of Trustees took place at KRSU. Representatives of the university management, members of the Council and invited guests took part in the discussion. The main attention was paid to summing up the first results of the work, defining tasks for 2026 and the role of KRSU in the system of Kyrgyz-Russian strategic partnership.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KRSU, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev, delivered a welcoming speech. He emphasized the university's responsibility to states, students and partners, as well as the role of the Board of Trustees as an institution of support and strategic control.
«KRSU fulfills the important mission of the bridge between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. This imposes special requirements on the quality of education and upbringing. The university takes care of the Russian language, the common historical and cultural traditions of our peoples, and strengthens humanitarian ties. We expect that KRSU graduates will be highly qualified and responsible specialists who respect the law, their country and partners and work to strengthen cooperation between our states».
During the meeting, priorities for 2026 were also outlined, related to specific changes in the educational process, the development of scientific activities and the improvement of the student environment. Special emphasis is placed on issues of security, transparency and trust — as key conditions for the sustainable development of the university.
