The head of the department of KRSU was awarded for the popularization of the epic «Manas»

The head of the Department of World Languages of the Faculty of International Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University of Talantaaly, Bakchiev, was awarded for his contribution to the popularization of the national epic «Manas».The award ceremony took place with the participation of the Anti-Corruption Business Council under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The award was presented by the Secretary General of the Council N. Mukanova.Talantaaly Bakchiev is one of the famous modern Manaschas, a Doctor of Philology and a recognized specialist in the field of Manas studies. His professional activities combine scientific, educational and cultural-educational work. He is the author of scientific works and educational materials, actively participates in international conferences and trains specialists in the field of humanities.The presentation of the award reflects the significance of the teacher’s contribution to the development of national culture and humanitarian education, as well as strengthening interest in the historical and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.A special place in his activities is occupied by the preservation and popularization of the epic «Manas» as the most important element of the intangible cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan. Bakchiev is also known as a performer of the epic and the initiator of large-scale cultural projects aimed at promoting the Kyrgyz tradition both within the country and abroad.
