«Green» EAEU economy: round table of the INF Treaty and KRSU in Bishkek
On October 25, with the meaningful support of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), a round table was held in Bishkek «Green Economy of the EAEU: Challenges and Prospects». The organizers were the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin (KRSU).
During the event, Russian and Kyrgyz specialists discussed the strategy for «green» development of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, exchanged experience in introducing «green» technologies and standards into the processes of industrial production, construction, and foreign trade development. Separately, the possibilities and methods of taking into account the «green» transition in the strategic documents of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the potential for the development of «green» energy in the Eurasian space were touched upon. The discussion took place in a closed format.

During the first session, reports were presented by the director of the Center for Sustainable Development, professor of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, member of the RIAC Board of Trustees Igor Yurgens, president of the Center for the Development of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (Republic of Kyrgyzstan) Tatyana Vedeneva, head of the scientific consulting department of the Federal State Agrarian University «Research Institute «Center for Environmental Industrial Policy» Kirill Shchelchkov, chairman of the Association of Renewable Energy Sources (Republic of Kyrgyzstan) Eleonora Kazakova and External Relations Manager of the JIA Business Association Azamat Duisheev.
The second session was attended by the head of the Department of World Economy of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics, head of the Scientific and Educational Laboratory of the Economics of Climate Change at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Igor Makarov, director of the Regional Mountain Center of Central Asia Ismail Dairov, head of the Department of Environmental Economics of the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University. M. Lomonosov Sergey Bobylev, founding member and chairman of the board of the Association «Green Alliance of Kyrgyzstan», president of UNISON Group Nurzat Abdyrasulova chairman of the public association «Independent Environmental Expertise» (Republic of Kyrgyzstan) Oleg Pechenyuk.
The discussion of the reports was attended by Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic Georgy Pivko, Executive Director of the Association of Legal Entities «Association «Kyrgyz-Russian Business Council» Bolot Dyushaliev, General Director of LLC «EcoPartner» Svetlana Bortsova and Advisor to the Department of Economic Policy Strategies of the Department of Macroeconomic Policy EEC Anton Kudasov.
The session was moderated by RIAC program manager Yulia Melnikova and Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU Natalya Borisenko, respectively.
