Women's entrepreneurship in KRSU

A round table «Women's Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Barriers» was held at the Faculty of Economics of KRSU. The organizer was the Department of Economics and Enterprise Management.

3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics of the EP-1-22 group and the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction of the DAS-2-22 group presented reports on various aspects of women's entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan.

Today, women make a serious contribution to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country. They open their own businesses, create jobs and develop entire areas of the economy. But in doing so, they still face obstacles – from difficult access to funding to established stereotypes.

During the round table, participants discussed what barriers prevent women from developing businesses, how education and digital technologies can help, and what support measures are needed to increase the number of women entrepreneurs.
