Live dialogue between education and industry: how OBRExpo went within the framework of OBRFEST
In Sochi, as part of the II Open Educational Festival OBRFEST-2026, the OBRExpo exhibition was held, where leading universities, educational projects and companies presented their programs and solutions.The exhibition became one of the busiest venues of the festival, which brought together about 3 thousand participants, from government officials and university rectors to students and schoolchildren. Here they discussed not only the future of education, but also specific tools for its development.Among the exhibition participants is the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, which presented its own stand. The university’s exposition attracted the attention of participants as an example of the successful integration of educational systems in Russia and the CIS countries and a platform for international academic interaction.Leading Russian universities were represented at OBRExpo, including the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the National Research University MGSU, the Russian University of Cooperation, the St. Petersburg University of Management and Economics Technologies, as well as the University «Synergy».Educational and technology companies, developers of digital solutions, platforms and services for learning have occupied a special place. These include representatives of the EdTech sector, IT training centers, as well as organizations working at the intersection of education and industry.
