Attention: cases of hacking of KRSU employee accounts have become more frequent

22 october 2026

Recently, cases of hacking of the accounts of employees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University have become more frequent. We urge colleagues to take precautions and strengthen the protection of their accounts.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends enabling two-factor authentication - additional protection in which, in addition to a password, confirmation is required to log into an account using a one-time code or a special application.

To protect your accounts:

🔐 Enable two-factor authentication in security settings.

🔑 Use unique and strong passwords for different services.

🚫 Do not share passwords or confirmation codes with anyone, even if the request allegedly came from colleagues or friends.

📱 Check active login sessions and terminate unfamiliar ones.

🔗 Do not click on suspicious links or open dubious attachments.

If you notice suspicious activity in your account, immediately change your password, end unknown sessions and check your security settings.

KRSU employees are kindly requested to consider this information carefully and take the necessary measures to protect personal and business data.
