Magazine "Russian Word in Kyrgyzstan" №3 (57) 2026

A special issue of the scientific and methodological journal «Russian Word in Kyrgyzstan», prepared for the II International Forum of Teachers of the Russian Language and Subjects in Russian in the Kyrgyz Republic, has been published «Bilingual Education Today: Global Challenges and Effective Practices».

Combining the scientific potential of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. N. Yeltsin and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after. Patrice Lumumba, we have prepared a special issue that presents research reflecting modern directions in the development of Russian studies, the theory and practice of bilingual education, as well as the functioning of the Russian language in the multilingual space of Central Asia.

Of particular importance to the editors is the inclusion of the journal «Russian Word in Kyrgyzstan» in the List of peer-reviewed scientific periodicals for the publication of the main scientific results of dissertations, approved by order of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 27, 2026 № 19-OD. This decision, published on the official website of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic, is recognition of the high scientific level of the journal, the professionalism of its authors and editorial team, as well as confirmation of the importance of the editorial staff’s many years of work to promote research in the field of Russian studies, bilingualism and intercultural interaction.
