80th anniversary of the Victory: restoration of the monument to Panfilov in the Chui region is planned

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University initiates the restoration of the monument to Ivan Panfilov, installed in the village of Panfilovsky, Chui region.

As reported at the university, the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General, was erected in 1972 at the expense of local residents and over the past years has fallen into disrepair. More details
