This year marks the 135th anniversary of the death of the great traveler, research scientist Nikolai Przhevalsky. We talked on the radio with Leonid Sumarokov, candidate of historical sciences, about how he got to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as what kind of person he was.
In a conversation on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, the adviser to the rector of KRSU on issues of historical and cultural heritage said that there is an opinion that Przhevalsky allegedly spent about a year on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. According to the historian, this is not so.
