Vice-Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Leonid Sumarokov told how the university helps schools in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On Sputnik radio Kyrgyzstan, Sumarokov said that last year KRSU held many competitions and Olympiads, in which representatives of schools throughout the republic participated. Gifts were given to active participants in these events this year.
«We have created stands for Russian language classrooms. They are made in such a way that children want to study in the office: the color scheme is consistent, pleasant to the eyes of the child. I am sure that universities should cooperate with schools, because students – these are future applicants, and who will come to the universities tomorrow depends on the quality of school education. For teachers of schools with which we cooperate, we conduct advanced training courses, with the participation of trainers not only from Kyrgyzstan, but also from Russia», – sumarokov explained.
He noted that KRSU recently donated books authored by university employees to the Chkalov school in Naryn. The next batch of textbooks and other books will be sent next week.
