On April 12, 1961, a spacecraft with a person on board was launched into Earth orbit for the first time. Gagarinskoye «Let's go» became a signal: the Soviet Union was first in the space race. Our small republic played an important role in space exploration: devices designed on the territory of the Kyrgyz SSR visited the Moon and Venus and flew in the tail of Halley’s Comet. More details
