Every third student in the Kyrgyz Republic studies in Russian – professor
Professor, director of the Institute of Russian Language of KRSU Mamed Tagaev explained why studying Russian in Kyrgyzstan is important and necessary.
In a conversation on Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, he said that, according to a recent study, even in monolingual regions of the country, parents often decide to send their children to schools with Russian as the language of instruction.
