The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation well understands the importance of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University for the entire education system and for our bilateral relations with the Kyrgyz Republic. Deputy head of the department Konstantin Mogilevsky stated this following a visit to Bishkek.
He assured that «the positive attention of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science to the KRSU has not weakened».
«We know that our Kyrgyz colleagues have the same attitude. Therefore, we will form positive trends and bring the university to the level it deserves» – said Konstantin Mogilevsky.
According to him, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation will continue to support the training of highly qualified specialists for the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
The official added that currently more than 16 thousand Kyrgyz students are studying at Russian universities, of which about 7 thousand – at the expense of the Russian federal budget.
Russian education standards apply on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic – in KRSU and branches of Russian universities. The Eurasian Network University, created last year, has already united more than 20 universities, including nine Russian and four Kyrgyz.
In addition, in 2022, 114 students were trained under Russian quotas at the Network University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which includes 78 partner universities, including eight from Kyrgyzstan. Number of countries – the CIS Network University has increased to 48 countries.
