KRSU and Polytechnic University of St. Petersburg discussed the environmental safety of Issyk-Kul
KRSU held a video conference with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University on environmental safety issues in Issyk-Kul. The meeting was dedicated to the implementation of a joint project «Environmental safety of Lake Issyk-Kul and the Issyk-Kul Basin».
The following topics were brought up by the KRSU:
- Fluctuations in water level in Lake Issyk-Kul and their impact on the coastal zone.
- Analysis of the modern species composition of flora and fauna of the Issyk-Kul Basin.
- Anthropogenic influence on the reduction of sea buckthorn thickets in the coastal zone.
Representatives of SPbPU proposed for discussion:
