KRSU initiates the restoration of the monument to I. V. Panfilov
Bishkek - March 12 /KGinform/. On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took the initiative to restore the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Ivan Vasilievich Panfilov. The monument, erected in 1972 in the village of Panfilovskoye at the expense of local residents, has fallen into disrepair over the past decades and requires urgent restoration work, reports KRSU.
