The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has entered a new phase of development. With the arrival of the new rector Sergei Volkov, the university is confidently moving along the path of transformation: approaches to teaching are being updated, the teaching staff is being strengthened, and academic mobility is expanding. All this is for the sake of the main goal: to give students an education that really works for the future.
"We are not just updating facades - we are changing the essence," says KRSU Rector Sergei Volkov.
According to him, the university should not be catching up, but setting the agenda. Therefore, the reforms affected everything: from the open competition of teachers (this year - 40 external applications!) until new principles for selecting programs.
