BISHKEK, August 30 – Sputnik. The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University is strengthening the educational and material base of seven schools in five regions of Kyrgyzstan, the university’s press service reported.
Before the start of the school year, KRSU donated stands for Russian language and literature classrooms to schools. This encouraged the activity of educational institutions in competitions and olympiads held by the university as part of its work to popularize the Russian language.
The stands were made at the university on the basis of the author’s project of the deputy director of the Institute of Russian Language, Doctor of Historical Sciences Olga Sumarokova. Last year, KRSU also helped equip classrooms in three schools in the Chui, Issyk-Kul and Osh regions.
