The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) presented a valuable gift to secondary school N3 in the city of Kant. The university handed over special training stands with information on subjects to the educational institution «Russian language» and «Russian literature». Visual aids were created according to the author's project of Doctor of Historical Sciences Olga Sumarokova.
– These manuals will make the teacher’s work much easier, they contain a lot of useful material – the acting director of the school, Zulmira Khodzhomambetova, noted. – I admit, I myself was interested in reading what was presented at them. Our children study Russian language and literature with pleasure. We often take part in Olympiads in these subjects and have awards.
The information on the stands really turned out to be very interesting. There is also about the history of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan. It turns out that back in 1873, the first Turkestan Governor-General, Konstantin von Kaufman, developed and presented to the tsarist government a special plan for the organization of educational units and public education in the region entrusted to him.
Educational statistics are also presented at the stands – in how many countries of the world is the Russian language studied. There is also a message that many eminent chess players in the world master it to one degree or another. Moreover, Russian is included in the mandatory training program for foreign astronauts.
– 2023 in the CIS countries has been declared the Year of the Russian Language in the Commonwealth countries – recalled KRSU Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations, Candidate of Historical Sciences Leonid Sumarokov. - Our university decided to update the Russian language classroom of the Kant school by the time it began. We tried to place information on the stands that would be useful to the children in class. Of course, some of it may be perceived as a hint, but I think that this will only benefit the children.
