New vectors of development have been identified
As part of the ceremonial events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, on October 12, 2023, a panel discussion «Slavic University 2050: prospects and priorities» was held in the assembly hall of the university, in which the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic D.Sh. took part. Kendirbaeva and the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov.
In her welcoming speech, the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva she noted that the development of KRSU should be dynamic and comprehensive, covering all stages of education in the Kyrgyz Republic. She further emphasized in her speech that at present there is a huge need to create a center for increasing the retraining of teaching staff for schools and teachers teaching children the Russian language. And this, according to the minister, can become one of the areas of activity of the KRSU. She also expressed hope that KRSU, in the future, will become a flagship of innovations and become one of the most advanced universities in Kyrgyzstan.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov, who made a report, focused the attention of the discussion participants on the need to jointly formulate ideas, make forecasts and make proposals for the development of the university for the coming decades.
