The promotion of the Russian language in Asian countries was discussed at the EEF 2025

On September 3, as part of the business program of the Eastern Economic Forum, a panel discussion took place «Promoting the Russian language in the Asia-Pacific region». The key topic of discussion was strengthening the role of the Russian language as an instrument of international educational and cultural cooperation.

Participants emphasized the importance of increasing interest in the Russian language among young people in the Asia-Pacific region, developing Russian-Asian educational projects and training highly qualified Russian teachers. Experts also presented successful practices in creating specialized educational and outreach projects, attracting foreign students to Russian universities, and solving problems of protecting and promoting the Russian language.
