Pushkin Days in Kyrgyzstan: Where and how can Kyrgyzstanis celebrate the anniversary of the Russian poet?
«Culture» (AKIpress) — june 6 is Pushkin Day and International Russian Language Day. This year the anniversary of Alexander Pushkin — 225th anniversary is celebrated.
As the Russian House in Bishkek reported, dozens of events dedicated to the writer and the Russian language are being held across Kyrgyzstan. Thus, project participants «Russian Language Ambassadors» will come to Bishkek, and soloists of the National Opera and Ballet Theater will perform in Osh with a program «Pushkin in Music».
As part of the «Russian Language Ambassadors» program, there will be lectures «On the past, present and future of Russian spelling», «Online resources on the Russian language: from dictionaries to podcasts», a quiz on the Russian language, an introduction to 20 important books of modern Russian literature, as well as presentations of Foundation projects «Total Dictation».
