Rector of KRSU: We will be among the top 5 universities in Central Asia
Sergey Volkov, the newly elected rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. Yeltsin, headed the university in October 2024. The interview took place in his office, amid the measured noise of repair work that is now actively underway at the university.
The rector told the agency «Kabar» about large-scale transformations: from eliminating the consequences «of the disaster» to ambitious plans to bring the university to the ranks of the leaders in Central Asian education, which will be possible thanks to serious investments and a strategic approach to management.
