The Russian economist shared economic «secrets» with KRSU

From September 15 to 19, 2021 at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin was on a working visit by Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Scientific Director of the Department of Economic Theory Rustem Makhmutovich Nureyev.

 

The work of the eminent Moscow guest was timed to coincide with the VI Kumskov readings held these days by the Faculty of Economics of the KRSU, dedicated to the memory of prominent economists of the Kyrgyz Republic – Vladimir Ivanovich Kumskov and Naila Khasanovna Kumskova. This year, participants in the Readings discussed the problems of industrial policy in the context of technological limitations.

 

Anticipating his speech at the forum, Professor R. Nureyev spoke on the radio of the International News Agency Sputnik Kyrgyzstan on the problem «Technologies in the EAEU: how the scientific integration of the Union is going». In a dialogue with the presenter, the scientist expressed his opinion on the popularity of the economist profession among students, on the causes and consequences of global warming, revealed the process of influence of the new multipolar world on the market, and pointed the way for the EAEU countries to jointly create a new aircraft model.

 

Then Rustem Makhmutovich conducted an advanced training course «Economic theory for a changing world: methodology, educational technologies and teaching methods in the context of digitalization of the economy». The purpose of the classes was to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of scientific and pedagogical workers in matters of modern economic theory. During the lectures, issues of organizing the activities of students and developing in them the professional competencies necessary for effective teaching were raised. The professionalism of the economist, a high level of knowledge, and mastery of the audience contributed to increasing the level of professional skills of KRSU teachers. The students did not go unnoticed by the outstanding scientist, who enthusiastically greeted the author of the textbook from which they study.
