Russian-Kyrgyz media forum: The start has been given!
Bilim AKIpress - The Russian-Kyrgyz media forum «New Horizons of Cooperation» was inaugurated at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the university, already in the morning the university was immersed in an atmosphere of creativity and professional dialogue: the forum brought together students, media experts, representatives of educational institutions and government agencies of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Rossit Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and leading universities of the two countries spoke at the opening. They emphasized the importance of developing media competencies in the modern world, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Guests of honor spoke at the Russian-Kyrgyz media forum at KRSU: Director of the Department of Information Policy and Integrated Security of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Andrey Tolmachev, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Lira Samykbaeva and Acting Rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov. They wished the participants success and fruitful work, emphasizing the importance of the forum as a platform for strengthening cooperation in the field of media, education and information policy.
