Russia and Kyrgyzstan: inextricable ties are becoming more and more common

The official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan took place against the backdrop of a number of events aimed at strengthening integration ties between the countries. 

 

In addition to strengthening ties on the economic plane, against the backdrop of the visit of the Russian president, cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation in the field of education and science deepened. Thus, in Bishkek, from October 11 to 13, celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University were held. The celebration was attended by representatives of government authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the Ministries of Education of the two countries, heads and students of Slavic universities and partner universities, as well as a delegation of the Siberian Federal University, which is the curator university of the KRSU under the Slavic Universities program.

 

To further strengthen the role of KRSU, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan on the conditions of activity of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. On the Russian side, the document was certified by Minister Valery Falkov, and on the Kyrgyz side by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva.
