Naryn School-Gymnasium №2 named after Valery Chkalov has long been rightfully considered an educational brand of Kyrgyzstan. Most recently, she worthily celebrated two anniversaries in her amazing and fascinating history: the 120th anniversary of the founding of the first Russian-native school in the highlands of Naryn and the 90th anniversary of the naming of the educational institution after the legendary test pilot Valery Chkalov, who made the first in history in 1937 non-stop flight across the North Pole from Moscow to America. And here's a sunny September 2022, right at the school gates – children in elegant Kyrgyz and Russian national costumes greeted the honored guests of the holiday with bread and salt.
This great honor was awarded and became a single part of the solemn event by distinguished guests from the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Cultural Center «Harmony», the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Central Asian Representative Office «Rossiyskaya Gazeta», representatives of the Naryn border detachment, the united Russian military airbase of the city of Kant, directors, teachers and famous graduates of the anniversary school of past years. Special guests of the holiday were teachers of the municipal budgetary educational institution «Gatchina secondary school №9 Leningrad region with in-depth study of individual subjects», sister schools «Chkalovites».
