Business incubators have been opened in 30 higher education institutions aimed at developing the creative economy, supporting entrepreneurship and creating startups among young people.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov took part in the opening ceremony of these business incubators in educational institutions via video conferencing.
«Kyrgyz Republic – a promising country for the development of a creative economy. Today we are starting a project aimed at supporting entrepreneurship among young people. As the history of the development of advanced countries shows, our main resource – is enterprising, talented youth with interesting ideas. Students will now have the opportunity to create startups in a wide variety of industries and implement cutting-edge ideas. In our country, the startup market is just developing. According to the Silicon Valley theory, only 10% of startups succeed. Therefore, in order to have a real impact on the development of the national economy, tens of thousands of startups must develop in our country every year, and there must be open competition of business ideas in the market», – he said.

According to the Ministry of Education, business incubators were opened in 32 universities, including the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin.
