The International Youth Historical School began operating in Bishkek
Today, October 9, within the walls of the B. Yeltsin KRSU in Bishkek, the grand opening of the International Historical School «Common History as a resource for the joint development of Russia and the CIS countries» took place.
The event was attended by O. Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov and co-chairman of the Russian Historical Society, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, scientific director of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the State Academic University of Humanities (SAUGN) Alexander Chubaryan.
And about. KRSU Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov, in his welcoming speech, recalled the joint history, which is the foundation for a common future, as well as the great Kyrgyz and Russian writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
In particular, that he introduced the concept «mankurt» into world culture: a person without the memory of his history, like a tree without a root, is not able to grow. And the students of the School demonstrate just the diversity of the general history.
