Pushkin Days began to be celebrated in Bishkek
Dozens of events dedicated to the great poet and the Russian language will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
BISHKEK, June 6 – Sputnik. A series of events began at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on Russian Language Day – Pushkin days.
Students read excerpts from famous works by A. Pushkin («Letter from Tatiana to Onegin», «Winter evening») and presented a small festive concert. After this, flowers were laid at the monument to the poet. The event was attended by honored guests led by the Russian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolai Udovichenko.
