In honor of Pushkin’s birthday, lectures, a quiz on the Russian language and a poetic teleconference were held in Bishkek
June 6 – International Russian Language Day and the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. It is also celebrated in Kyrgyzstan. By tradition, on this day «Pushkin Days» are held at the Boris Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, reports «MIR 24».
The program includes – lectures, a quiz on the Russian language and presentations of Foundation projects «Total dictation». A poetic teleconference will take place at the university itself. Students, literary scholars and teachers from Commonwealth countries will take part in it.
