In Kashka-Suu, located in the Chui region, construction of a new campus for the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will soon begin. This information was reported on the website Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.
Construction, which meets international educational standards, should be completed by 2030, and the project is financed from the budgets of both countries. Special attention at the joint meeting of the heads of the intergovernmental commission was paid to the development of engineering infrastructure for the campus.
Adylbek Kasymaliev, who heads the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, expressed support for the project, which provides funding from the state budget for the design and creation of utility networks to the boundaries of land plots, as reported by the KRSU.
