Pushkin Days will be held in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by «Russian House in Bishkek».

 

The organization recalled that Alexander Pushkin was born on June 6. On the same day, Russian Language Day is celebrated.

 

Activities:

  • The event will continue on June 6 «Pushkin relay». Quests, quizzes, lectures are held in Bishkek, Kant, Leninsky, Karakol, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Suzak and Kyzyl-Kiya;
  • On June 6 at 9.00 at the monument to Alexander Pushkin near the main building of the KRSU in the capital, the grand opening of Pushkin Days will take place with the participation of officials, teachers and students, representatives of public organizations;
  • On June 6 at 18.00 a youth festival «Pushkin Fest» will be held at the monument to the writer;
  • On June 6 at 14.00, the Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov invites children and parents to the performance «The Tale of Tsar Saltan»;
  • On June 6 at 19.00 at the Opera and Ballet Theater the best musicians of Kyrgyzstan will present a vocal and poetic evening «Pushkin in music». Admission to both shows is free;
  • On June 8 at 18.00 the Russian Song Ensemble «Souvenir» will perform a new program in the Great Assembly Hall of KRSU. Admission is free.
